Dear Lorene:
You know how excited I am over the Piano Course, But still I need to write this letter to make sure you realize how very grateful I am for this wonderful opportunity to at last learn to play the piano, and to play it musically, and to get all the questions answered that I’ve wondered about so long.
There are going to be many fringe benefits I can see. Life has already become more of an adventure. As I prepared our dinner,I was happily ·throwing octaves into the air and hoping they were accurate, and finally having to run to go check them with the Interval Keyblock to make sure.
The lessons are written so beautifully and also with such love and patience and wisdom that I realize they are not just lessons for learning to read music and play the piano, but lessons in living a fulfilled and productive life. My husband (of 47 years)is so thrilled that at last I am learning to play the piano that he sits in the room with me and when I come to an especially profound passage, I read it aloud to him and he loves it, also.
After working with the 6th lesson I notice that my hands feel better and are more limber than they have been in years. Wonderful therapy!
I have committed myself to working with the lessons every day without fail, and also I shall follow the instructions to the letter.
I liked making a fist and closing my eyes and then in my imagination reaching for the octave before actually doing it. That is a wonderful idea that can be carried over into many other areas as well.
Well, dear Lorene, thank you for the wonderful new lease on life you are giving so many, and I feel certain this is going to catch on and be a world-wide Teaching.
Dearest love and gratitude,
Dorothy Moore
